Here’s a list of hardware and software requirements for windows before you can get started.

Hardware Requirements	Processor: Intel Core i5 64-bit or equivalent server processor and higher RAM: 16 GB or higher Disk Space: 500 GB or more
Software Requirements	Operating System: 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows 10 or later. Java: Azul Zulu: 11, 17, or 21 Oracle: 17 or higher OpenJDK: 11.0.22 or higher Android Studio: Arctic Fox (2020.3.1) and above (applicable only for Mobile automation) UFT: 2021 and above (applicable only for Desktop projects)
Privileges Required	Local Administrator privileges

Java Development Kit (JDK) Prerequisite

Qualitia Boson recommends using the 64-bit JDK versions of Java 11 or higher on which Qualitia Boson has been tested successfully.

The recommended versions are:

Azul Zulu: 11, 17, or 21
Oracle: 17 or higher
OpenJDK: 11.0.22 or higher

We recommend using Oracle 17, as Oracle 11 contains several vulnerabilities.

While Qualitia Boson can be installed using other JDK versions, only the versions listed above have been tested and verified. Using any other JDK version may result in issues during test case execution.
